School Cancellations & Delays

The safety of our students and staff is a primary concern to all of us. Please listen to the radio or television to learn of closures or delays whenever there is snow, ice or other questionable weather — do not call the school or leave your child at the school until you know this information. The following radio and television stations will broadcast cancellations and/or delays due to inclement weather or other factors. We always follow closures and delays of the Midland Public Schools.

WKQZ – 93.3 FM
WIOG – 102.5 FM
WHNN – 96.1 FM
WGER – 106.3 FM
WCEN – 94.5 FM
WTLZ – 107.1
WSGW – 790 AM and 100.5 FM

Television:

WJRT TV 12 (ABC affiliate)
WEYI TV 25 (NBC affiliate)
WNEM TV 5 (CBS affiliate)

In the event of a two-hour delay, school will start at 9:55 a.m. (no school for morning kindergarten).

Early dismissal time due to inclement weather is approximately 12:00 p.m. Dismissal may be earlier if weather is rapidly changing. The time is determined by the Midland Public Schools’ Superintendent’s Office.
